Metal, the dollar, tariffs and quotas keep moving, and the price list gets rebuilt by hand, late, one product at a time.
They come in by email, PDF or WhatsApp, and someone has to retype them line by line.
Every shipment needs its documents, and who supplies each one depends on the incoterm. All filled in by hand, every time.
A price list 2% off takes a quarter of a distributor’s margin.1
1 If a distributor makes around 8% net and sells 2% below where it should, it loses 2 of those 8 points: a quarter of the margin.
Since January the European importer pays for the CO₂ in the steel and aluminium it buys. Without the factory’s verified figure it pays at the EU default value, with a mark-up that reaches 30% in 2028. HeavyDeals keeps your CBAM tonnes in view from the purchase order, puts each supplier’s CBAM cost in your prices, and works with your factories to get their verified figure.
Each order to your supplier adds its tonnes against the 50-tonne yearly threshold before it sails, in time to have your declarant authorisation ready.
Your quotes and price list carry the default value or the supplier’s verified figure, so you compare factories on what each tonne costs once it is in Europe.
We prepare the factory’s data with it, under the EU method, for its accredited verifier, and ask for its steel plant’s figure, where most of the CO₂ sits. Our team includes expert sustainability consultants.
Example · a distributor importing 2,000 t of welded tube a year from China
CBAM on 2026 imports, at the Q3-2026 certificate price held flat; steel plant at 1.6 t CO₂ per tonne. Illustrative.
338 days to the first declaration. Everything imported since 1 January 2026 is in it, your factory’s 2026 data has to be kept now, and from 2027 you must hold, every quarter, certificates for half of what you have imported that year.
HeavyDeals gets the work ready for you: the order from an email, the new price list when copper goes up, the documents for a shipment. Nothing goes out until someone on your team approves it.

No. Your ERP and your accounting stay where they are. HeavyDeals takes over what is left in spreadsheets and email: prices tied to the metal and the currency, quotes, the customer portal, the container paperwork and the invoices that come from each order.
Yes, at both ends. On your side, HeavyDeals adds up your CBAM tonnes from the purchase order against the 50 t yearly threshold, and puts each supplier’s CBAM cost in your quotes and price list. On the factory’s side, we prepare its data under the EU method for its accredited verifier, so you can declare with its verified figure instead of the default value and its mark-up. Send us your list of Chinese suppliers and we tell you which can have a verified figure for 2026, at no fee.
Yes. Start with an assessment, at no fee and before any agreement: you send last year’s production, energy bills and steel purchases, and we tell you which products are in scope, what your European customers pay at the default value and what is missing for a verification. It reads orders that arrive by email, PDF or photo and turns them into drafts, and it answers questions with your data. It never sends a price, an order or a message on its own: a person on your team approves first.
Nothing goes out unchecked. Every change shows its calculation, and someone on your team approves it before any customer sees it.
They don’t have to switch overnight. Orders that still arrive by email become drafts your team confirms. Customers move to the portal when they find their own price and last month’s order waiting there.
Yes, if you import by the container and sell to installers, shops or dealers. You can start with orders and the container paperwork, and add price formulas later.
In the region we agree with your company, encrypted in transit and at rest. Each company sees only its own data, and every change is logged.
We start with a pilot on your own catalog, set up together with your team. The yearly plan depends on the size of your catalog, so we put together an offer for each company.
